Allwyn Court, a hunter and jumper show barn now based out of Wellington, Florida, is owned by Kathy and Gerry Newman and their daughter Katherine. The family recently sold their farm in Middleburg, Virginia to reside full-time in their Wellington home.

The 2007 Diabetes Carnivale “Australian Outback” will take place at the International Polo Club on Friday, March 2, 2007. This year’s event will be a festival celebration of Carnivale with an Australian Outback theme. The event will feature dining, dancing and silent and live auctions. All funds raised will support the healthcare, educational, advocacy and research programs of the American Diabetes Association. Diabetes affects almost 21 million people in the United States. The American Diabetes Association is the nation’s leading voluntary health organization providing research for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The mission of the association is to “prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people with diabetes.”

Entering its twenty-eighth year, the AGA Grand Prix Series of Show Jumping is the world’s richest and longest running series of equestrian show jumping events. The AGA offers over $3 million dollars in prize money on a tour that encompasses thirty events and twenty different equestrian market locations across the United States.

America’s richest and most prestigious show jumping event. Offering $150,000 in prize money, the American Invitational is held in April at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, as the grand finale of the ten week long Winter Equestrian Festival.

Founded by an avid equestrian, the company’s mission is to create honest, evocative music to enhance lifestyle experiences, such as riding. Challenge of the Americas is a Grand Prix team dressage quadrille and musical freestyle competition. It is held at The Players Club and Palm Beach Polo and benefits the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The Charlotte Jumper Classic is the preeminent all jumper show in the Carolinas. An AGA event, FEI sanctioned, A Rated, CSI*** show, the Charlotte Jumper Classic showcases some of the world’s greatest equestrian superstars in one of America’s richest show jumping events.

Christy Russo currently shows in the Large Junior 16 & 17 yr. division with her two horses, Miracle and Westcliffe. She resides in Miami, FL and trains with Ken and Emily Smith. A veteran of the Winter Equestrian Festival, Russo has participated in the winter circuit for ten years. She has won five WEF circuit championships, as well as top ribbons in some of our nation’s most prestigious competitions. She is also the owner of High Cotton, an extremely successful Small Junior Hunter.

Courtney King is a United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist and a USDF Certified Instructor through Fourth Level. She was named to the USET Olympic Long List in 2000 and to the USEF High Performance Developing Riders List in 2004. As a Young Rider, King competed in the 1998 North American Young Riders Championships, and since 1999 has earned a long list of championships and honors in open competition including many USDF Regional Championships and Reserve Championships from Training Level through Grand Prix. King currently counts 15 horses in training with her, including the internationally renowned Grand Prix stallion Brom’s Idocus. King is based at Sunnyfield Farm in Bedford, New York. Kane, 21, is based in Wellington, Florida, where she manages Diamante Farms, a dressage training, showing, and boarding facility owned by her parents, Dick and Terri Kane. Kane was winner of the Individual Gold Medal and member of the Region 3 Bronze Medal Team at the 2007 CN North American Junior and Young Riders’ Championships (NAJYRC).

Diane Carney is an esteemed hunter/jumper trained based in Hampshire, IL. Through her business, Telluride Farm, Carney sells, trains and shows hunters and jumpers, in addition to teaching and hosting clinics. Jimmy and Danielle Torano operate the hugely successful JET Show Stables based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. They are one of the nation’s top importers of up and coming, young show jumper and hunter prospects. Jimmy has been on the grand prix tour for more than 15 years, has been to numerous World Cup Finals, collected many grand prix wins across the country, and this past summer won the $150,000 Rolex/USEF National Show Jumping Championship. Danielle is one of the top Amateur-Owner Jumper riders in the history of United States show jumping. She is the winningest rider ever in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Amateur-Owner Jumper Series.

JT Farm trains horses and riders in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. James Toon has been training for over 30 years. In addition to his winning clients and their horses, he has ridden horses to national championships. He has also been one of the most sought-after judges in the industry for years and has judged many of the best horse shows in the nation, including the USEF Medal Finals, ASPCA Maclay National Championship, and Pony Finals. While Toon has generated many top hunters, he is a trainer who focuses on producing championship equitation horses. Washington International Horse Show is a prestigious competition annually held at the MCI Center in downtown Washington DC. Wellington Golf & Country Club, which was built in 1985, features a 6,982-yard, par-72 course designed by Ted McAnlis and re-designed by Johnny Miller. It also has a 3,085-yard, 18-hole executive course.
