Hint Of Blue is Large Pony Hunter Champion for Over the Hill Farm at HITS V Ocala Tournament

Ocala, FL – March 14, 2006 – Over the Hill Farm finished up the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit with a flourish, winning two championships and four reserve championships. This was done without any horses showing in the professional divisions. It was basically “kid’s weekend” for trainer Bill Schaub.

In the Large Pony Hunter division, Hint of Blue, ridden by Megan Massaro, brought home the championship for owner Katie Hogan. Hint of Blue won three blue ribbons and one second place to capture the tricolor. Time to Talk, ridden by Samantha Schaefer, won a blue ribbon in the same division for another Hogan family member, owner Lauren Hogan.

Time To Talk was also shown by Samantha Schaefer in the Schooling Pony Hunter division. The stunning bay gelding took two first place finishes on the way to winning the championship in this competitive division.

In the Large Green Pony Hunter division, Showboat, owned by Ann Gardner and ridden by Samantha Schaefer, had a first and two seconds and brought home the reserve championship.

Role Model and owner/rider Courtney Rodrigue finished up her successful circuit by winning a blue ribbon and the reserve championship in the Children’s Hunter 15-17 Horse division.

Parker Wright of Lakeland, Florida, and Two To Tango had a first place and a second place ribbon and won the reserve championship in Section B of the Short Stirrup Hunter division. Two To Tango is owned by Kristi Thompson. Master Wright also rode Fancy Feet in Section A of the Short Stirrup Hunter division for owner Bill Schaub and brought home a second place ribbon.

Over the Hill Farm riders will compete next at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Tampa, Florida, on March 22 to 26, 2006.
