Wellington, Fla. – April 16, 2021 – American Equus, Arizona-based maker of innovative tack and accessories, is pleased to announce its new partnership with the California Dressage Society (CDS). The producer of luxuriously crafted and engineered for performance spurs, shanks, gloves and horseshoes is sponsoring the CDS Regional Adult Amateur Competitions (RAAC) to be held in August in the northern, central and southern regionals of California.
The RAAC regional competitions bridge the gap between the local chapter shows with individual year end awards programs and the tremendously difficult, top caliber competition at the annual CDS Championship Show. The novice adult amateurs are introduced to high level competition through a
positive show experience while giving the more experienced amateur riders a warm up for the state-wide Championship Show held in September.
“American Equus is so thrilled to be a part of the California Dressage Society Adult Amateur Competitions this year as a new sponsor,” said David Shano, founder of American Equus. “It is important to us to continue supporting riders showing at all levels, especially those at the Amateur level. The CDS offers such great incentives to riders, and we are excited to support their efforts through sponsorship by providing our state-of-the-art stirrups and other accessories as division prizes.”
RAAC winners will enjoy gifts from American Equus that include stylish, lightweight and technically advanced stirrups, as well as ultra-soft, breathable, elastic and supple gloves with superior grip and tactility with the reins.
American Equus also produces aircraft grade aluminum horseshoes, stylish and ultra-lightweight at 65% lighter than steel shoes and available in a variety of deep anodized colors that help prevent oxidation and fungus growth typically seen in high moisture environments.
With its 54-year history, CDS maintains an average membership of 3000 in 35 chapters and prides itself on offering programs, events and competitions to
encourage and educate its members. It enjoys a history of leadership in the national dressage community and of creating innovative events and education.
