Devon, Pennsylvania – September 13, 2026 – Junior and Amateur riders brought show jumping competition to a close at the Devon Show Grounds on Sunday, taking to the Dixon Oval for the $5,000 1.25m Junior Jumper Classic, sponsored by Meridian Bank, and the $5,000 1.25m Amateur Jumper Classic, sponsored by Meridian Bank.
Junior jumpers were up first, with Reese Hajdu and Unique VD Heffinck Z ultimately claiming the blue ribbon in the $5,000 1.25m Junior Jumper Classic.
The class featured 10 horse-and-rider combinations, with Hajdu the only rider to advance to the immediate jump-off aboard both of her mounts. Hajdu and Ilan Ferder’s Zangersheide mare, Unique VD Heffinck Z, powered across the course to secure the top spot on the leaderboard with a jump-off time of 40.406 seconds. Aboard her own Zangersheide gelding, Princeton Z, Hajdu finished the jump-off in 42.00 seconds to claim second place.
Closing out the competition and capturing the final blue ribbon of the 2026 Devon Fall Classic in the $5,000 1.25m Amateur Jumper Classic were Lauren Rachuba Grosby and Billy Nikon.
The class featured 15 horse-and-rider combinations, with six advancing to the immediate jump-off. As the final horse-and-rider combination to enter the Dixon Oval, Rachuba Grosby and Rachuba Sport Horses, LLC’s AES mare, Billy Nikon, delivered a standout performance, stopping the jump-off clock in 33.578 seconds to secure the victory.
