Robinson was also awarded The Thorndike Duncan Memorial Perpetual Trophy as Devon’s 2025 Leading Amateur-Owner Hunter Rider.

“It’s really special,” stated Robinson. “You know, I was walking up here and I was like, ‘I cant believe it.’ I thought I was going to be reserve.”

Amateur-owner Irene Neuwirth had modest expectations for her trip to Devon this year, opting to bring her 6-year-old to “get experience.” The duo, who were 14th on the waitlist to show, have only been paired together since September 2024 and attended just two shows to qualify for Devon. But the young Westphalian gelding handled the atmosphere like a seasoned pro, helping Neuwirth to claim her fourth consecutive Devon Amateur-Owner Hunter Championship title.
