May 30, 2025 – Devon, PA – At the 129th Devon Horse Show & Country Fair, the Dixon Oval came alive on Friday with the elegance and excitement of classic breed and carriage championships. From Hackneys and Saddlebreds to roadsters, carriages, and more, this year’s champions were a celebration of the best of equestrian tradition.
Coaching Championship, sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne W. Grafton
The Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Foster Bright Perpetual Trophy
Park Drag and Misdee Wrigley-Miller, out of Paris, Kentucky claimed the 2025 Coaching Championship sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne W. Grafton.
The Park Drag was made by Holland & Holland circa 1898. The coach was owned by Sir Leonard Powell, who was the president of the British Coaching Club in the 1920s. It was purchased by Wrigley-Miller in 2002 and it took nearly two years to by restored by Nick Woods in England. This is Wrigley-Miller’s third time winning The Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Foster Bright Perpetual Trophy in the past five years. She previously claimed the championship title in 2018 and 2023.
