May 30, 2026 – Devon, PA – Amateur-owner competitors took center stage on Saturday as the hunter divisions concluded at the 2026 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. With the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’6″ divisions competing in the Dixon Oval and the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3″ divisions showcased in the Wheeler Ring, the day culminated in the crowning of the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3″ and 3’6″ division champions, as well as the Devon Grand Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3″ and 3’6″ champions.

Adding another tricolor to her Devon record, Stephanie Danhakl and Cadet claimed championship honors in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’6″ Over 35 division.
The Sambalino Perpetual Trophy was awarded to Hudson and rider Nancy Prant Hooker. The trophy is presented to the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’6″ horse that, in the opinion of the judges, best exemplifies the classic hunter in movement, jumping style, and presence.
