“I am still in shock. This is outside of my dreams,” stated Rheingold. Having never won a Championship title at Devon and at only her second appearance at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair she noted, “I wasn’t really expecting this.”

Some riders dream of getting a championship ribbon pinned on their horse at Devon. For one talented young rider, that dream was realized. Violet Rheingold, a junior rider from Boulder, Colorado, made her second-ever trip to Devon in hopes of laying down solid rounds in the Small Junior 3’3″ Hunter division. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would be leaving with not just one championship ribbon and cooler, but also the title of Devon Grand Junior Hunter 3’3″ Champion. Devon is where dreams can come true.
