Lexington, KY – August 12, 2024 – New for 2024 – NHS is thrilled to announce that the Leo Conroy Equitation Grant has been expanded to the:
NEW NHS Leo Conroy Grant Program
This Program includes the pre-existing Equitation Grants for THIS, Hamel, & Maclay riders, in addition to the NEW Junior & Children’s Rider Grants and NEW Amateur & Adult Rider Grants.
This grant is annually awarded to riders competing in the:
The ASPCA Maclay Finals
The Taylor Harris Insurance Services NHS Adult Equitation Championship
The Hamel Foundation NHS 3’3″ Equitation Championship
NEW Junior / Children’s Hunter
NEW Amateur Owner / Adult Hunter sections
The Leo Conroy Grant Program was expanded to assist competitors who are in financial need in order to compete at the National Horse Show. The Selected riders will receive the following: stall, entry fees, and stipend to cover additional show-related expenses.
The Leo Conroy Grant Program is open to riders who qualify to compete in the previously mentioned divisions. Riders must apply online from August 19 – September 27, 2024. Previous recipients of the Leo Conroy Grant may not re-apply.
