Devon, Pennsylvania – September 12, 2025 – Junior and Amateur riders had their moment in the spotlight Saturday evening with the pinnacle class in the 1.30m Junior/Amateur Jumper division—the $7,500 SJHOF Junior/Amateur Classic, sponsored by Meridian Bank.
In a tight race for the blue, seven riders delivered clear first rounds to advance to the jump-off, but none could catch Ria Ohtsu and Jimmy Jumper (Afellay Z x BallyHeerin Chestnut Lady), who ran away with the win.
Ohtsu and her Irish Sport Horse gelding ultimately claimed the division championship, while Victoria Holtz and Aston Des Etisses claimed reserve championship honors in the division.
Competition at the 12th annual Devon Fall Classic concludes Sunday, September 14, with Junior and Amateur jumper competition.
