Wellington, Fla. – June 22, 2021 – M. Michael Meller and Alison Robitaile of 500 Hats LLC are pleased to congratulate John Bragg and Bridgepoint Farms LLC on the purchase of his new grand prix mount Flairvona. A talented 11-year-old KWPN mare by Air Jordan Z, Flairvona has shown successfully on the CSI5* level at world-class competitions across North America with top riders such as Alison Robitaile, Paul O’Shea and most recently with Spencer Smith of Ashland Farms.
Meller and Robitaile formed 500 Hats LLC to support finding and producing talented young horses like Flairvona. Smith began riding Flairvona at the end of 2020 and campaigned her over the recent 2021 Winter Equestrian Festival season, earning top ribbons in CSI4* and CSI5* events.
Bragg has trained hunters and jumpers on the circuit for many years and has collected numerous accolades along the way including year-end championships, Horse of the Year awards and many indoor tricolors. Bragg is the owner of Bridgepoint Farms in San Juan Capistrano, California and is well known among the equestrian community for bringing horses to the top level of the sport.
“My long-term goals are to show in the Grand Prix’s and do well,” explained Bragg. “We plan on bringing Flarivona to Traverse City and then we’re coming back for Young Riders, where she will show again. She was a good match to my other Grand Prix horse that I have and she is just a great fit in my barn. I am looking forward to getting to show her and do some big classes with her.”
Bragg added, “I recently met Michael through Emily Smith, and his relationship with her really helped bring together the deal with Flairvona. I am appreciative for both of their assistance in helping me bring this talented horse into my barn.”

Flairvona really appreciates the way John rides and she is able to showcase how talented she is when he is in the saddle, so we are excited to watch them continue to progress together.”
