American Equus Hunter EQ FIllis Stirrup

The American Equus is dedicated to giving hunter riders a competitive edge without forcing them to sacrifice traditional style. To that point, they have crafted the Hunter EQ Fillis stirrup, which brings new, cutting edge engineering to a traditional product. Crafted from aircraft aluminum alloy, the irons have incredible protection in the event of a fall, offering lateral crush strength to protect a rider’s leg and foot. The pin traction pad secures the riders foot time after time, and offer unparalleled comfort for everyone with the even distribution of weight pressure over the knee, ankle, and foot. Luxuriously hand polished and show-chromed, the American Equus Hunter EQ Fillis stirrup turns heads in the arena.

Victoria Colvin riding in the American Equus stirrup

American Equus would like to congratulate Chosen Rider Victoria Colvin’s mount Private Practice on being named 2018 WCHR Hunter of the Year. This incredible achievement is a nod to Colvin, his trainer Tom Wright, his owner Brad Wolf, and the rest of the team who works tirelessly around him to produce a top hunter. In 2018, Colvin and Private Practice took the hunter world by storm, winning numerous championships across the U.S. Most notably, Colvin piloted him to the win in the USHJA Hunter Derby Championship at the Kentucky Horse Park while riding in American Equus irons. Wolf will be presented the Peter Wetherhill Cup on Saturday, ahead of the $100,000 WCHR Peter Wetherhill Hunter Spectacular, the highlight of WCHR week at WEF Week Six.
