Temecula, Calif. – May 18, 2022 – Show jumping athletes converged in the Grand Prix Arena at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Week I to set the pace for three weeks of elite jumper competition. 26 horse-and-athlete combinations tried their hand at Guilherme Jorge’s (BRA) 12-obstacle course in an attempt to top the leaderboard and claim the victory in the $10,000 1.35m Welcome Stake Sponsored by Tack of the Town. Ultimately, it was Angel Karolyi and S&L Sage to best the field of seasoned competitors.

Temecula, Calif. – May. 18, 2022 – The action resumed after a two week break Wednesday at Temecula Valley National I with a spotlight on young hunters in the newly constructed, Hunter 1. The 2’9” Young Hunter 5 & Under and 3’ Young Hunter 6 & Under divisions saw promising hunter prospects put their best foot forward on the first day of division competition in hopes of earning the highest honors over the two jumping rounds heading into Thursday’s championship crownings.
Chad Mahaffey and Paperboy Clinch High Performance 4’ Hunter Championship
Temecula, Calif. – May. 19, 2022 – The High Performance 4’ Hunter competitors took to the Grand Hunter Arena Thursday morning to complete the second portion of the division and vie for championship honors. Athletes were the first of many classes to take to the ring hoping to impress the judges with their mounts’ scope and handiness. Following the final two rounds, it was ultimately Chad Mahaffey and Paperboy, owned by Brighton Farms, who claimed the championship title, continuing their three-week winning streak.
Matt Archer and Luigi VD Bisschop Top $25,000 1.40m Speed Classic, Sponsored by Duchateau, During Temecula Valley National I
Temecula, Calif. – May. 19, 2022 – Show jumping action continued Thursday evening at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National I in the Grand Prix Arena as eyes fell on the speed demons taking on the $25,000 1.40m Speed Classic sponsored by Duchateau. The feature class welcomed 39 competitors, taking to the course one by one in hopes of claiming the fastest clear round all while trying to etch their names onto the qualifying list for the upcoming National Equestrian Tournament finals taking place during Temecula Valley National III. At the close of competition , it was ultimately Matt Archer and Luigi VD Bisschop who bested the pack to stand atop the podium in the winners circle.
