The 12-hour radio marathon will feature over $4,000 in equine related prizes, 24 featured equestrian guests including Brooke USA ambassadors and hundreds of listener calls, songs and poems.

Brooke Global Ambassador Monty Roberts will use his hour as a guest on the show to chat with Brooke USA Ambassadors alongside Horse Radio Network hosts Glenn the Geek, Dr. Wendy Ying and Debbie Loucks at 1pm (EST) on the Horsemanship Radio Show (HorsemanshipRadio.com). As a Global Ambassador for Brooke, Roberts will discuss the daily struggles of both the humans and the animals that live within the 11 countries in which Brooke works. The show will also feature some more light hearted tidbits, with each ambassador recounting their favorite holiday memories and traditions for both themselves and their horses.

Brooke USA Ambassadors are integral to supporting the awareness and fundraising efforts of Brooke USA. The Ambassadors are passionate and enthusiastic about the mission of Brooke USA and have found many ways to give back. Nic Roldan’s Inaugural Sunset Polo & White Party, Benefitting Brooke USA raised over $120,000 for Working Equines. Roldan will host the second Sunset Polo and White Party on March 24, 2017 at The Wanderers Club in Wellington, Florida. As well, Roldan recently returned from a trip to Guatemala to see the work that Brooke does to help working equines firsthand.

The Brooke USA Ambassadors are always willing to lend their hand to efforts to support the organization. Boyd Martin lent his skill and charm to the “Celebrity Bartender Showdown” at the Tryon International Equestrian Center during the American Eventing Championships raising over $5,000 for Brooke USA’s recently completed “Buy a Donkey a Drink” campaign. Olympic Dressage Team member Alison Brock organized a T-Shirt campaign prior to the Olympic Games which raised money for Brooke USA.

This holiday season the tax-deductible Brooke USA Shop (www.BrookeUSAshop.org) offers virtual gifts to support the world’s largest international equine welfare charity, Brooke. Gift choices start at only $25 which could, for example, provide a blanket to a hard-working horse in the mountains in winter, up to $5,000 which could help to stock one of our free veterinary hospitals in a developing country.

The funds raised by the Brooke USA Shop support all of Brooke’s equine welfare programs across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Central America by making it possible for our veterinarians to provide free treatment for overworked, dehydrated, injured, sick, lame and malnourished animals. It also makes it possible for Brooke to provide free training for owners, service providers, and entire villages in more humane methods of using their animals.
