Wellington, Fla. – Feb. 13, 2018 – Brooke USA is excited to invite you to a Lunch & Learn session entitled “Global Impact Through Local Kindness: Ensuring Vital Futures for Equines and Their Human Partners.” Katherine Bellissimo, Brooke USA Board Member, will provide the welcome remarks, while Brooke’s head of communications, Rachel Bhageerutty, and head of international fundraising, Brendon Elliot, give a compelling presentation in The Wellington Club at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC). Taking place from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. on Feb. 22, the exciting event is part of the popular Lunch & Learn weekly series, which offers educational lectures to riders, owners, trainers and horse enthusiasts on a variety of equine-related topics.
The Lunch & Learn is the first engagement to take place during Paint Wellington Orange, a promotional, awareness and fundraising movement to further engage the Wellington community in Brooke USA. This year, for the first time, Brooke USA will reach more people through our orange movement. Brooke USA’s goal is to paint all of Wellington orange so community members its vision of a world in which working horses, donkeys, and mules are free from suffering.
