Cherry Knoll Farm Black Angus Bring Home Champion Titles at The 102nd Annual Pennsylvania Farm Show

Harrisburg, Pa. – Jan. 16, 2018 – From breeding to competing, quality is reflected in everything Cherry Knoll Farm aims to achieve. During the 102nd Annual Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Cherry Knoll’s fine cattle competed for the top prizes Jan. 6-13.

Cherry Knoll Farm is thrilled to announce that Frey Angus Farm’s bull, Cherry Knoll Bootlegger 1503, continued his domination at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. In 2017 he was named the Grand Champion Bull and he protected his reign by winning the Grand Champion Bull title again in 2018.

In addition to this championship, Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1226, owned by Mitchell Farms, was named Reserve Grand Champion Cow-Calf.

Continuing the success, Cherry Knoll Elisha 1732, owned by Caily Dahlquist, had a stand out performance winning her class in the open show. The heifer was also named Reserve Grand Champion Heifer in the Junior show.

In both the open show and the Junior show, Courtney Dahlquist and Cherry Knoll Forever Lady 1762 represented Cherry Knoll Farm well by winning her classes.

Michael Butz had an outstanding run with Cherry Knoll Farm offspring, showing three different heifers in the open and Junior Shows. Cherry Knoll Elisha 1771, earned first in her classes, both in the open and in the Junior shows. Cherry Knoll Elsa 1640, earned third in the Junior Show and fifth in the Open Show, while Cherry Knoll May 1738 rounded out the exciting weekend placing fifth in the Junior Show and 7th in the Open Show.
