After officially entering the US market in February 2019, ClipMyHorse.TV first partnered up with Orlando and ShowNet in June of the same year. As a mutually beneficial and agreeable cooperation developed, so did talks of a potential acquisition of the ShowNet.biz platform. A deal was eventually struck and finalized in the beginning of March 2020.
We are most excited about teaming up with Co-Founder and ShowNet CEO David Orlando, who will be an ideal addition to the management team of CMH USA. Joining forces with the industry veteran is crucial to the growth ambitions of ClipMyHorse.TV in North America. The synergies of utilizing ShowNet’s production capabilities, resulting software, as well as David Orlando’s management with ClipMyHorse.TV’s technology and resources, will benefit consumers and show organizers alike, thereby creating a strong player on the North American market.
With approximately 800 events around the globe in 2019 alone, ClipMyHorse.TV is the world’s leading online broadcaster of equestrian sports and breeding events. The partnership will offer customers not only the largest archive of equestrian video content in North America, but also an extensive database of horse show results and information. All US live streams will be broadcast and archived on both platforms. Live resulting will continue to be offered on ShowNet.biz. The companies will invest in bringing together the best of both products, while serving event organizers as a digital media partner with global visibility.
