Devon, Pa. – August 4, 2021 – The 2021 Devon Fall Classic, presented by Bryn Mawr Hospital, is quickly approaching, scheduled for Wednesday, September 15 through Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the historic Devon Horse Show Grounds. The annual competition will once again feature show jumping action throughout the week and this year’s event will also feature a full-scale fall festival with carnival rides and games alongside wonderful food and drink selections from local vendors.
Athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their mounts in the Dixon Oval in several divisions ranging from the Young Jumper and Child/Adult Jumper divisions to the Open Jumper divisions, which will be highlighted during Saturday night’s $25,000 Devon Fall Classic. Even the youngest equestrian enthusiasts will have the opportunity to make their debut in the ring during the Leadline class.
This year’s Devon Fall Classic will be open to the community beginning Wednesday, September 15 and will feature carnival rides and games for everyone to enjoy beginning at 3pm. There will also be Mounted Games and a Dog Show in the Dixon Oval for fans to watch before the show jumping competition kicks off Thursday.
Entries for the annual show jumping competition will close on September 8, 2021, but be sure to submit your entries and stall requests before the show sells out by visiting Show Management Systems.
Returning for its eighth year, the Devon Fall Classic benefits the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that allows the historic venue the support it needs to continue acting as a showgrounds. Recent improvements include new footing in all three rings, barn and stall renovations, as well as improvements in vendor areas.
