Devon, Pa. – May 24, 2021 – The team at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair have been hard at work throughout 2020 and 2021 making numerous upgrades to the famed show grounds. Continuing their dedication to creating the best experience possible for exhibitors, their horses, and spectators, the historic venue is excited to share the multitude of improvements that will further the experience of every event hosted at the iconic site.
Throughout 2020 and the beginning of 2021, over 500 stalls have been reconstructed and screening has been added in the stalls to create better footing for the horses. The majority of the barns also have new exterior walls that have been refurbished to showcase their historic beauty. Additionally, the stable doors have been replaced with new ones that still honor the original look and feel. The iconic Devon cupolas have all been re-built and are up-lighted to showcase the brilliance of the venue.
“Our team has worked so hard to update the stabling at the show grounds so that exhibitors can have the best possible experience every time they compete,” said Wayne W. Grafton, Chairman and CEO of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. “Ensuring that the horses have safe and comfortable accommodations was a top priority and we thrilled to have it completed ahead of our summer competitions.”
Events at the historic Devon Horse Show grounds are just around the corner, with the Brandywine Horse Shows beginning June 30, 2021. In September, the Devon Fall Classic will take center stage September 15-19, followed by Dressage at Devon.
