Entries for 2018 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Close Tuesday, April 3rd

Devon, Pa. – April 2, 2018 – The closing date for entries for this year’s Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is quickly approaching. Entries must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 3rd. The historic show will take place on Thursday, May 24 through Sunday, June 3, and is sure to be well-attended with its large offering of hunter, jumper and equitation divisions, as well as leadline, sidesaddle, breeding, family, and breed-specific classes. The qualifying period will close on April 2, 2018.

Entries for the non-qualifying divisions, such as Saddlebred, Hackney, Harness, Roadster, Driving, Carriage Marathon, and Friesian are due by April 23. Please be aware that the Driving/Coaching entry form is separate from the Saddlebred, Roadster, Hackney, Harness, and Friesian entry form.

Entries and payment can be easily submitted online through entries.showmanagementsystem.com and those with any questions regarding entries can email entries@devonhorseshow.org. Competitors should be sure to select the correct entry form, as there are separate forms for qualifying and non-qualifying class entries.

The Devon Arena Eventing class, which began last year and was a huge success, will continue again this year. Riders who are interested must enter through the FEI Entry System and will be notified if the request was accepted.

Exhibitors entering any non-qualifying class such as Hunters, Leadline, Side Saddle or Family Class are required to include entry, office, stall, drug, and showing fee with entry blanks.

The Devon Horse Show is the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed competition in the United States. The annual event is internationally recognized, USEF-rated 6* Jumpers/Premier Hunters, and is one of the most exciting events to happen in our area. While it draws top competitors from around the world, the show continues to reflect the local traditions and lifestyles of the Philadelphia Main Line.

Acceptance letters:
Acceptance e-mails will be sent to the address linked to individuals’ Show Management System™ account or the contact point provided on the paper entry blank. The acceptance e-mail will contain instructions on how you can accept or decline your invitation and pay any remaining balance through the electronic platform. If you have not created an account yet at Show Management System™ you will be given the opportunity to do so and your paper-submitted entries will be imported into that account. Instructions will be included in the acceptance e-mail.

Scratches: See the full prize list for rules and procedures regarding scratches from the horse show. All scratches must be handled in writing.
