Austin, TX – Aug. 28, 2018 – Enviro Equine & PET is thrilled to congratulate three of its sponsored riders on their incredible recent successes. Show jumper Sharn Wordley and driver Misdee Wrigley Miller have both been named to World Equestrian Games teams for their respective home countries, and Victoria Colvin won the prestigious USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship for the second time in a row. Enviro Equine & PET is proud of all of it sponsored riders and ambassadors that loyally represent the brand, and the company is grateful to play a role in their many past and future successes all across the world.
“We are always so excited to report on our sponsored riders’ accomplishments, but these three have certainly achieved an especially immense level of success this year. To have two of our supporters going to the World Equestrian Games and one winning Derby Finals is incredible. We wholeheartedly congratulate them,” said Angela Brackett, Sales and Marketing Director at Enviro Equine & PET. “This is a true testament to our products and their effectiveness for sporthorses in multiple disciplines. We have worked tirelessly to create and provide the very best all-natural products for horses, and we can’t wait for more horses and owners to experience the benefits that Enviro Equine & PET has to offer.”
The upcoming World Equestrian Games will take place in Tryon, North Carolina at the Tryon International Equestrian Center from September 11-23, 2018, and two of Enviro Equine & PET’s sponsored riders will be taking center stage as one of the elite athletes chosen to compete. As New Zealand’s highest ranked showjumper, sitting within the top 100 riders on the FEI Longines List, Wordley was selected as a member of the team for New Zealand with his mount, Sky Group’s Casper. Additionally, Enviro Equine & PET will be represented in the driving discipline thanks to Misdee Wrigley Miller, who nabbed one of the United States team’s three slots thanks to her standout performances in the qualifying events. Wrigley Miller will drive with her horses Beau, Bravour 54, Bolino D, Calipso 86 and Daan 8.
Capping off an exceptional summer show season thus far, Colvin rode Private Practice to the top honors in the 2018 USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship, held in Lexington, Kentucky. The reigning champion after winning the event with Cuba in 2017, Colvin’s win makes her one of only two athletes to have won the event consecutively as well as one of two riders to win the event more than once. The professional rider navigated Private Practice to high scores in both the classic and handy round of competition to emerge victorious ahead of more than 80 of the country’s top hunter horses and riders.
