Get Ready to Horse Show! Nilforushan Equisport Events Announces Temecula Valley National Summer Series

Temecula, Calif. – June 9, 2020 – Nilforushan Equisport Events (NEE) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Temecula Valley National Summer Series, which will be held at Galway Downs from June 24 – 28 and June 30 – July 4. Following a long break from competition for exhibitors around the country, it is NEE’s hope and goal that this series will allow for horse-and-rider pairs to transition back into the show ring in a casual, fun and safe atmosphere. The unrated two-week series will feature hunter, jumper and equitation divisions for all levels, plus a weekly $25,000 Grand Prix and $5,000 Hunter Derby.

Since its announcement on social media June 8, the first week of the series has already sold out!

“We only just decided to run this new horse show after the response we saw at the Galway Downs schooling show this past weekend. Everyone was so happy to be able to get back in the ring and followed the appropriate safety guidelines, so we could see that it is time to start bringing back horse shows for all of our peers. Everyone is ready,” commented Ali Nilforushan, one of the founders of Nilforushan Equisport Events.

In order to keep participants safe, NEE will be enacting a precautionary COVID-19 protocol across the grounds. Social distancing will be required throughout the event, and additional staff and stewards will be around to help keep everyone spread out safely. Face coverings will be required, and it is recommended that exhibitors bring their own masks. There will not be a VIP Tent and NEE staff will have their temperatures checked regularly, plus a number of initiatives will be in place to limit person-to-person contact, such as spacing out stalls and placing entry folders at each set of stalls instead of requiring an office visit. A full set of guidelines will be available for review in the upcoming prize list.

Additionally, NEE and Galway Downs have partnered with the Natural 4 Life Horse and Rider Product line, which will be sprayed across the site and is scientifically formulated to help guard against the carriers of infections and parasites with an anti-bacterial barrier and offers protection against flies, mosquitos and airborne viruses.

Any exhibitors or trainers who wish to attend the Temecula Valley National Summer Series should prepare a stall count and email stabling@jump-nee.com for more information as soon as possible. Entries will be limited, so be sure to reserve your space. Week One is already full, but Week Two still has stalls available.

At this time, the prize list and entry blanks are not yet available, but will soon be published on www.Jump-NEE.com. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the prize list, class schedules and other documents within the coming days.
