Temecula, Calif. – May 21, 2022 – The rainy California morning took a quick turn as the sun came out to set the scene for thrilling jumper competition on Saturday evening at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National I. A total of 40 top-notch jumper athletes united in the Grand Prix Arena for a chance to win the $50,000 EquiFit Grand Prix. Spectators packed the VIP, ringside tent, and grand stands to watch horse-and-athlete combinations try their hand at the towering track designed by Canada’s Peter Grant. Girl power was apparent as the ladies filled all three spots on the podium. Ultimately, it was Kaitlin Campbell and Palina De L’escaut who raced to the finish to top the leaderboard.
Ella Cate Duke and Understudy Crowned Champions of the Junior 3’6” Hunter 16-17 Division at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National I
Temecula, Calif. – May 21, 2022 – Junior 3’6” Hunter 16-17 division competition resumed Saturday afternoon at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Week I as young hunter riders took to the Grand Hunter Arena for the second day to vie for the championship title as well as a qualification for the Inaugural National Equestrian Tournament. With five jumper divisions and three hunter divisions open to professionals, amateurs, and juniors alike, the NET tournament founded by Ali Nilforushan allows for riders of all ages, disciplines, and levels to compete for real prize money. With a combined division for 3’3″ and 3’6″ Junior and Amateur hunters, the stakes were high with the finals quickly approaching during Week III of the Temecula Valley National Horse Show. At the end of the day, it was Ella Cate Duke and her young mount Understudy who prevailed over the pack of talented riders to take the championship title.
Stella Buckingham and Vondel DH Z Deliver a Flawless Performance in the ASPCA 3’6″ Maclay Medal
Temecula, Calif. – May 20, 2022 – The west coast’s top junior riders put their equitation skills to the test Friday afternoon for the ASPCA 3’6” Maclay Medal in the Grand Hunter Ring at the Temecula Valley National Horse Show Series. One at a time, the young riders took to the course, designed by Richard Cram, to demonstrate proper technique and impress the judges with their abilities to connect with their mounts and accurately interpret the course in order to take home a top result. After 18 trips and the flat phase, Stella Buckingham and Vondel DH Z, owned by Ingenium Farm, emerged victorious yet again.

Temecula, Calif. – May 20, 2022 – Friday evening called for thrilling jumper competition in the Grand Prix Arena at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National I. Returning for the second consecutive year, the $10,000 5-Bar competition, sponsored by Interactive Mortgage, welcomed 10 gutsy horse-and-athlete combinations to electrify the crowd and showcase their athleticism over the towering gymnastics exercise. Exhibitors flocked to the ringside tent to witness a piece of the action. Ultimately, it was Michael Williamson and Califf QT who proved their dominance as the only rider in the class to leave all the rails intact.
