Great Lakes Equestrian Festival Welcomes Staller as 2018 FEI 1.40m Jumper Series Sponsor

Traverse City, Mich. – June 15, 2018 – Morrissey Management Group is excited to welcome Staller as this year’s FEI 1.40m Jumper series sponsor at the 2018 Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF), which will showcase six consecutive weeks of elite hunter, jumper and equitation competition throughout the summer at the picturesque Flintfields Horse Park. The 2018 GLEF is set to run from July 4 to Aug. 12.

Staller provides a seamless experience for individuals’ stabling or layover needs, and its sponsorship of GLEF’s FEI 1.40m Jumper series is an ideal partnership.

Highly-respected in the equestrian community and known as the “Airbnb for horses,” Staller was established in 2016 as a web and mobile application that allows equine enthusiasts to search for stall options available for rent in the U.S. The platform streamlines the overall rental process whilst allowing tenants and barn owners to interact and transact in an easy and secure manner.

Prospective renters can browse through a wide network of properties, refine their search by applying filters and find the right fit for their horses with Staller. Barn owners list their stalls by creating a property profile on the platform that features information such as a description of the facility, pictures, rental terms, served disciplines, included amenities and reviews.

The exciting FEI 1.40m Jumper series will run in the expansive Grand Prix Ring on Thursday morning during Weeks III and IV, and on Wednesday morning during Weeks V and VI. Weeks III and IV will feature the $1,000 Staller 1.40m Jumper CSI2* class on Thursday, July 19, and on Thursday, July 26, while Weeks V and VI will feature the $6,000 Staller 1.40m Jumper CSI3* class on Wednesday, Aug. 1, with the series culminating on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

“For Staller, it is important to have a presence at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival because it is a major destination for horses and riders in the U.S.,” said Arturo Ferrando, co-founder of Staller. “Whether you are an amateur or high-profile professional, GLEF offers great options in terms of classes, disciplines and prize money. The quality of the venue facilitates a unique experience for its participants.”

“As a growing brand, we are constantly looking to connect with the largest number of members in the equestrian community,” said Pablo Jimenez, co-founder of Staller. “Over the past year, Staller’s focus has been on expanding our East Coast market. GLEF is the perfect opportunity for us to engage with equine enthusiasts from all over the country in preparation for a national roll-out.”

In addition to their generous sponsorship of the FEI 1.40m Jumper series, Staller will be GLEF’s official solution to riders and trainers’ short-term stabling needs. Some of the many listings available on Staller’s website and user-friendly mobile app include boarding facilities within close proximity to the showgrounds, yet far enough away to ensure horses and riders can train and relax in a more private and tranquil setting.

Furthermore, Staller provides its customers with specific barn details, dimensions and photos as well as maps so they can compare properties and make the best choice for their personal needs, creating an exclusive and unique reservation system for stall booking.

The dedicated team at Staller prides themselves on being the first integrated solution for listing, booking and paying for horse stalls all online and aims to become the leading tool for barn owners to enhance their revenue potential by delivering visibility and opening access to a short-term rental market never seen before.
