Harley Brown and Forever Alve Claim $15,000 Brown Advisory 1.35 Open Classic To End Desert Circuit IV
Thermal, Calif. – Feb. 13, 2022 – The fourth week of Desert Circuit concluded on Sunday with the $15,000 1.35 Open Classic, sponsored by Brown Advisory, in the Grand Prix Arena. A total of 2Hi 6 entries came forward to contest the Olaf Petersen, Jr.-designed track. Five horse-and-rider combinations advanced to the tiebreaker, but in the end it was Australia’s Harley Brown and Forever Alve that produced the fastest double clear round to claim the winning honors.
Emma Post and Won Love Capture Large Junior 15 & Under 3’3” Hunter Championship
The final day of World Champion Hunter Rider (WCHR) week at Desert Circuit IV concluded with Junior Hunter competition in Hunter 1. Emma Post and Won Love stole the show in the Large Junior 15 & Under 3’3” Hunter division, sponsored by Antares, earning the championship title after winning two classes in the competitive division. Emme Tangen and Uno Mas, owned by Parris Cozart Collins, took home reserve championship honors.
