Help Horses Healing Hearts Make History by Participating in the Great Give 2017!

Wellington, Fla. – May 12, 2017 The countdown to the Fourth Annual Great Give is winding down! In less than a week, Horses Healing Hearts and 414 local nonprofits in Palm Beach and Martin County will participate in a 24-hour online giving event led by United Way of Palm Beach County, Achieve, Nonprofits First and United Way of Martin County.

The community-wide event celebrates the spirit of giving by raising critical funds for local nonprofits, serving essentially every need.

Every donation will be multiplied, and cash and other valuable prizes will be awarded to participating nonprofit organizations throughout the day.

In addition to the funds raised, bonus pool dollars and prizes, nonprofits will also benefit from the generosity of local businesses offering special promotions, in-store incentives, happy hours and more, including the Great Give CityPlace Takeover.
On May 17, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the plaza and surrounding areas of CityPlace will be filled with arts and crafts, animals for adoption, dancers, performers, live music and more.

This event is open to the public. Anyone can make a secure donation ($20 minimum) on www.greatgiveflorida.org to Horses Healing Hearts and other participating nonprofits. Be sure to mark your calendars and help us make every hour of May 17 more meaningful!

Horses Healing Hearts is a one-of-a-kind prevention education program helping children who have been affected by a family member with addiction. At HHH, children build self-esteem and confidence by working with horses. HHH is the only program of its kind, giving children tools to change their lives and break the generational cycle of addiction in a safe and nurturing environment.
