Temecula, Calif. – June 4, 2022 – The final weekend of the Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Horse Show got underway Saturday morning with a full schedule of jumper competition slated to take place in the Grand Prix Arena. An all day affair concluded with the feature class of the day where 39 entries tried their hand at the course designed by Anderson Lima for the Spruce Meadows $50,000 National Grand Prix. Just as it did in Friday night competition, the 1.45m Nilforushan Equisport Tournament (NET) Final ran concurrently in the Grand Prix Arena and gave qualified horse and rider combinations the opportunity to earn a share of $113,100 in extra prize money. Standing at the top of the leaderboard for both the Spruce Meadows $50,000 National Grand Prix and the $113,100 Nilforushan Equisport Tournament Final 1.45m at the conclusion of the class was Kaitlin Campbell and SWS Training and Sales’s Palina De L’escaut behind an impressive performance in both the first round and the jump off.

Joie Gatlin and Finna W Take Home the Blue Ribbon in the $46,500 Nilforushan Equisport Tournament Finals

Temecula, Calif. – Jun 3, 2022 – The stage was set in the Grand Prix Arena at Galway Downs for the highly anticipated $46,500 Nilforushan Equisport Tournament (NET) Finals. A unique opportunity provided by Ali and Francie Nilforushan at their own Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Horse Show gave riders the option to enter into a pool to earn extra prize money. The NET Final ran concurrently with the Equestrian Lifestyle Boutique $10,000 1.35m class. At the conclusion of the 1.35m class Friday, the points were tallied amongst the NET competitors to determine the winner of the extra prize money. The Anderson Lima designed course tested the agility and preparation of the horse and rider combinations with several tight bending lines, seven oxer obstacles and triple combination jump. The class was set to a traditional 2(a) format, with all entries taking to the course for round 1 and the clear horse and rider combinations returning for a jump off. After the conclusion of the 1.35m, it was Joie Gatlin and Gugler Sport Horses GHMB & CO.KG’s Finna W that took home the prestigious blue ribbon for the TVNHS NET Final.

Lauren Padilla and Way Maker Make Their Way to Children’s Championship at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ TVNHS III

Temecula, Calif. – June 4, 2022 – On a chilly, but beautiful morning at the Nilforushan Equisport Event’s Temecula Valley National III, children and adult hunter competition closed out their second day of competition while vying for valuable championship points. Children hunter competition was the first to start the morning with the Taylor Harris Insurance Services Children’s 3’ Medal and the Children’s 3’ Hunter division wrapped up immediately afterwards. Taking home the championship honors in the Children’s 3’ Hunter Division with the most points after two days was Lauren Padilla riding Way Maker.

Gabrielle Sokolow and Just Cavalli Capture the Win in the CPHA Foundation 3’3” Medal at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ TVNHS III

Temecula, Calif. — June 3, 2022 — Equitation riders took center stage Friday in the Grand Hunter Ring of the Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National III. The highlight of the equitation classes was the CPHA Foundation 3’3” Medal, which is unique in the fact that both juniors and amateurs can compete. The California Professional Horsemen’s Association Foundation Medal is to be judged on the standards of the USEF Hunter Seat Equitation, and compete for valuable points towards finals, just like other equitation classes. The CPHA Finals are set to be held August from the 17th- 21st, 2022 in San Juan Capistrano. Besting the field in this class was Gabrielle Sokolow from Westlake Village, California aboard Just Cavalli.
