London, U.K. – Sept. 27, 2019 – Back by popular demand, Horse & Country TV’s (H&C TV) high-anticipated documentary series, Vet Essentials, returns this September for its third season. The opening episode, Understanding Ulcers, went live on H&C TV on Friday, September 20. The episode covers a common issue that many horses are faced with in their lifetime: ulcers. Olympic event rider William Fox-Pitt and internal medicine specialist Dicky Hepburn examine the prevalent issue and discuss the science behind ulcers, including why horses may be diagnosed with them, different treatment methods and what horse owners can do to help prevent them.

Joint Disease in Horses features veterinary expert Rachel Read and Olympic Grand Prix dressage rider Richard Davidson, who dive deep into the definition of joint disease, why horses develop it, treatment options and preventative measures for equestrians to implement so that it does not prematurely develop in their horses.
