Wellington, Fla. – March 27, 2019 – Phelps Media Group, Inc. International, a leading international equestrian public relations and marketing agency, would like to extend a warm welcome to Israeli Grand Prix dressage competitor Micah Deligdish as she joins their highly decorated roster of equestrian professionals. A United States Dressage Federation (USDF) bronze, silver and gold medalist, Deligdish is a young dressage professional who offers high-quality training, coaching and sales services.
Deligdish is excited to announce her new partnership with Destiny (Diamond Hit-Midt-West Regina, Rubinstein), a 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Diamante Farms. Owned and previously shown by Diamante Farms’ Devon Kane, Destiny has been a regular in the CDI arena since 2012 and campaigned the Grand Prix at venues such as the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) and in Falsterbo, Sweden. Most recently, Kane competed Destiny in the CDI3* during the eighth week of the 2019 AGDF.
“I am so excited for this opportunity, and I’m really thankful to Devon [Kane] and my trainer Nicholas [Fyffe] for their support,” Deligdish said. “We have big goals ahead, which include qualifying and competing at the European Championships this summer. I am really looking forward to developing my partnership with Destiny and seeing what we can accomplish together in international Grand Prix competition for Israel.”
The 27-year-old dressage rider began her competitive career with success as a pony rider throughout her junior and young rider years. Based year-round in Wellington, Florida, Deligdish trains with positive enthusiasm as she takes the next step into international competition representing Israel.
“I knew when I decided to make my international debut it would be for Israel,” Deligdish explained. “To represent the State of Israel is an honor and the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.”
Most recently, Deligdish competed in the CDI ring representing Israel aboard her horse Santos, an 11-year-old Westphalian gelding, at AGDF. As she begins a partnership with her new Grand Prix mount, Destiny, she has her sights set on the European Championships and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
“Working with Micah Deligdish is an exciting addition to our team at Phelps Media Group,” said Mason Phelps, founder and president of Phelps Media Group. “I really believe that our team will compliment Deligdish well as a professional athlete and play an instrumental role in bringing her career to the next level.”
“I’m excited to begin working with Phelps Media Group as I elevate my career as both an athlete and a young equine professional,” Deligdish said. “They have deep roots in the equestrian industry in Wellington and internationally, so I am looking forward to developing my brand awareness with their help.”
