Jamie Taylor Takes Second Consecutive Grand Prix Victory in $50,000 Grand Prix, sponsored by First National Bank of Pasco

Temecula, Calif. – Oct 23, 2021 – Entering the ring to claim Rivetti’s first place finish was Taylor aboard Cocoliche of Greenhill Z, an 11-year-old Zangersheide gelding owned by Ali Nilforushan. The pair put down a double-clear ride of 35.279 seconds, proving that she is a force to be reckoned with in the jumper ring. Their performance in the ring stole the crowd’s hearts and brought a large roar from the spectators in the stands. The duo’s faultless score would remain unbeaten for the remainder of the class, leaving Taylor to lead the victory gallop at the conclusion of the night.

“I knew that was a place that I could take a risk with him and I maybe made it riskier than I should have,” said Jamie Taylor. “But you know, if you’re not trying, there’s no glory if you’re not trying.”

Eric Navet Takes Back-to-Back wins in $10,000 1.35m NEEd for Speed Derby, sponsored by Multi Radiance Super Pulsed Lasers

Temecula, Calif. – Oct 23, 2021 – Sixth to take a shot at the course, Eric Navet and Signe Ostby’s nine-year-old Holsteiner gelding, Coronado Blue NF, took sharp turns and difficult approaches in an effort to shave off precious time. The dynamic duo blazed through the track, wowing the crowd with their speed and agility. The pair galloped through the finish line with a time of 83.338 seconds, breaking the beam and taking over the top spot, bumping Pearce down a spot.

“I am so lucky to have this horse get another blue,” noted Eric Navet. “He is a very, very fast horse and he knows how to play the game and loves doing it. He loves to go fast, he loves to win and he does his best. If I ride him well, he always has a chance.”

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work in the $5,000 NEE Hunter/Jumper Team Costume Challenge

Temecula, Calif. – Oct 22, 2021 – Teamwork was abundant in the $5,000 NEE Hunter/Jumper Team Challenge at Galway Downs for Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Fall Week II. Hunter and jumper athletes came together in teams of two in hopes of taking top honors in the unique crowd-favorite class. The competitors were not only vying for the highest combined score, but also awards for the best costumes. Thanks to their overall score, comprising the highest hunter marks of the class and one of the fastest jumper times, the combination of Isabelle Tolentino and Della White took the win aboard Blazing Lute and Eye Catcher, respectively, ending a two year-long winning streak by Shiloh Roseboom and Amanda Gomez.

Two Tricolors Awarded in The Large Junior 3’3″ Hunters at The Temecula Valley National Fall Series

Temecula, Calif. – Oct. 23, 2021 – Juniors continued to dominate the Grand Hunter Arena at the Temecula Valley National Horse Show for the second day in a row. Trading in equitation ribbons for a Large 3’3” Junior Hunter tricolor, some of the west coast’s top young talents put their best foot forward hoping to claim the final title of the two-week series. On their second and final day of division competition, one tricolor would not be good enough as Calista Yun aboard Steel The Show and Kara Fritz with Coolboy ultimately shared the winner’s circle by tying for champion, while Katalina Raiszadeh and Dublin followed closely behind taking reserve champion.

Isabella Holway Takes Sixth and Final Equitation Win at Temecula Valley National Fall Series

Temecula, Calif. – Oct. 22, 2021 – Equitation riders took over the hunter rings Friday, October 22 for their final day of competition at the Temecula Valley National Fall Series, presented by Interactive Mortgage. Eager to snag the last of the points available at the series, stiff competition was on display as the junior rider competition heated up in the back-to-back WIHS Hunter Phase and ASPCA 3’6” Medal. At the conclusion of the two classes featuring many of the same competitors, it was Isabella Holway who returned to the winner’s circle after coming off of four equitation podiums during the first week of the series, claiming both first place ribbons aboard her trusty partner HD Washington.
