Karl Cook and Caillou 24 Conclude Silver Oak Jumper Tournament with Win in $137,000 Agero Grand Prix CSI3*
Traverse City, Mich. – Sept. 12, 2021 – The conclusion to Week II of the Traverse City Tournament of Champions and the Silver Oak Jumper Tournament took the form of the $137,000 Agero Grand Prix CSI3* Sunday afternoon. A field of 33 decorated international athletes and their mounts representing seven countries made their way through the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel archway hopeful to nab the biggest win of the week. After a competitive jump-off, it was the United States’ Karl Cook and Caillou 24 to emerge at the top of the leaderboard and claim the lion’s share of the prize money.
2021 USHJA Young Jumper Championship Concludes with 5, 6, 7 and 8-Year-Old Final Competition
The 2021 USHJA Young Jumper Championships concluded on a high note Sunday with the Final Competition for Five, Six, Seven, and Eight-Year-Old age groups. In the Six-Year-Old finale, it was Soehnke Theymann who rode Henrietta to the top overall honors after producing multiple clear efforts throughout the three days of competition.
Grace Debney and Quimby Top $10,000 Traverse City Hunter Derby
The grand finale to hunter competition during Week II of the Traverse City Tournament of Champions took place Sunday afternoon in the Polk Family Hunter Ring. A total of 43 entries had their shot at the top prize in the $10,000 Traverse City Hunter Derby to close the week out on a high note. Following two rounds of challenging competition, it was Grace Debney and Temple Equestrian LLC’s Quimby who topped the leaderboard.
