Katie Laurie and Cera Caruso Race to Win $36,600 Limitless Performance Speed Classic CSI4*

Traverse City, Mich. – June 10, 2021 – As the kick-off event for the 12-week 2021 Traverse City Horse Shows (TCHS) series, the Traverse City Spring Horse Show (TCS), presented by Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel, welcomed a field of international show jumping competitors. A total of 30 athletes took to the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel International Ring to contend for top honors in the $36,600 Limitless Performance Speed Classic CSI4* Thursday afternoon, but in the end, it was Australia’s Katie Laurie to slip into the leading position at the end of the class riding Carissa McCall’s Cera Caruso.

Didgereedoo VDL and Kelsey Epperson Take Champion Title in Staller Shows Performance 3’6” Hunter


Hunter competitors were eager as the 2021 Traverse City Spring Horse Show (TCS) kicked off in the Polk Family Hunter Ring Wednesday with the Performance 3’6” Hunter division. Talented horse-and-rider combinations took their turn at the beautifully designed hunter courses, but it was Kelsey Epperson and Didgereedoo VDL who emerged victorious during Thursday’s portion of competition, winning both over fences classes to ultimately claim the Performance 3 ‘6” Hunter Champion title. Nick Haness aboard Caldiano claimed the reserve champion title after impressing judges during both days of the competition.
