Kentucky Horse Shows LLC Thanks Generous Sponsors for Support of their 2021 Show Season

Lexington, KY – May 7, 2021 – The premier horse show management company, Kentucky Horse Shows LLC, is proud to recognize the generous sponsors of the 2021 Kentucky Horse Shows season. Hosted at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, this year’s shows will kick off with the Kentucky Spring Horse Show which runs May 11 – May 16 and is immediately followed by the Kentucky Spring Classic May 18- May 23.

Horse showing will resume at the Kentucky Horse Park with the Kentucky Summer Horse Show held July 28 – August 1 and will be followed by the Kentucky Summer Classic on August 3 – 8, the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show which runs August 17 – 22 and will wrap up with the KHJA Horse Show which runs August 25 – 29. During the summer weeks, the Kentucky Horse Park will also play host to several championships including the USEF Pony Finals, USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships and the USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals.

These shows would not be possible without the support of the returning and new sponsors of the 2021 Kentucky Horse Shows LLC show season. We will be highlighting all of these wonderful companies in future press releases and social media and encourage our competitors to extend their gratitude to these businesses as well while they are on grounds.

Kentucky Horse Shows LLC would like to thank Johnson Horse Transportation for their continued support of our horse show series.

This year, Johnson Horse Transportation is sponsoring the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame (SJHOF) High Junior Jumper Classic during both weeks of competition.

Johnson Horse Transportation is an equestrian shipping company that provides timely and safe transportation for show horses. DJ Johnson, owner of Johnson Horse Transportation, said, “As always, I think the Kentucky Horse Shows series is obviously a great horse show just by looking at their turnout. There are big numbers of horses and a great group of horses and trainers. Not only is it a great place to show, but Lexington also is a great city.”

Johnson added, “I think Kentucky Horse Shows puts on a great horse show and people keep coming back. We are glad to be able to have our customers come into the show and do a sponsorship with the Kentucky Horse Shows team.”

TAKE2 Second Career Thoroughbred Program Inc. will once again be sponsoring the TAKE2 Thoroughbred hunter and jumper divisions, which will be offered during all weeks of the Kentucky Horse Shows series. The 501(c)(3) organization and program promotes new careers for retired racehorses and awards $10,000 in year-end high-score awards.

Qualifying horses may participate in the end of season $20,000 TAKE2 Hunter and Jumper Finals held at the Kentucky Horse Park during the Kentucky National Horse Show, September 22-26, 2021.

“TAKE2 is proud to team up with the Kentucky Horse Show series to showcase the talent and versatility of the Thoroughbred,” said TAKE2 Executive Director Andy Belfiore. “Putting the spotlight on retired racehorses at such a marquee competition helps us to fulfill our goal of creating more second career opportunities and ensuring happy and healthy lives beyond the track. We could have no better partner than Kentucky Horse Shows.”
