To all in the equestrian community,
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to affect many people around the world, and the equestrian industry has not been an exception to these trying times. As lifelong participants in the sport, we are particularly saddened and concerned about how the widespread postponements and cancellations of horse shows, including our own, have caused hardships for our fellow peers that make their living on the competition circuit. On behalf of Nilforushan Equisport Events (NEE), we would like to do something to provide some support if we are able to run our Temecula Valley National Horse Show weeks in May, which are still tentatively moving forward.
With so many livelihoods in jeopardy, we are pleased to be able to offer a rebate program to help put some money back in the pockets of those who may be struggling. During Weeks I, II and III of the Temecula Valley National Horse Show, which are scheduled to take place May 13 – 17 (WCHR), May 20 – 24 and May 27 – 31 at Galway Downs, we will be giving money back to those trainers and employees that help to make the 2020 Temecula Valley series a success.
Trainer Incentive Program
Two percent (2%) of sales, which includes entry and stall fees, from a trainer’s barn will be returned to the trainer following the conclusion of the horse show. To participate in this program, check-out must be done with a credit card, and the show office will write a check on the spot for the rebated amount. We hope these funds will be helpful in allowing trainers to keep working with their clients and traveling the horse show circuit with a bit less stress.
NEE Employee Program
One percent (1%) of gross sales, from entry and stall fees, will be distributed between the NEE staff members that keep the horse show functioning smoothly and operating at a high level of service, on top of their wages. Whether you work for NEE as a judge, ring crew, steward, at the in-gate or anything in-between, we are committed to helping support those who dedicate their time and effort to the Temecula Valley National Horse Show.
Wishing you health,
Ali Nilforushan and Francie Nilforushan
