Lexington, Ky. – May 21, 2022 – As the second-to-last day of the Kentucky Spring Classic II comes to a pinnacle, 30 international athletes and their mounts took to the Rolex Stadium to ride for the coveted top prize in $140,000 Mary Rena Murphy Grand Prix CSI3*, presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. Just nine combinations added their names to the jump-off list at the completion of the first round, with Argentina’s Luis Pedro Biraben and Chacco Bumpy taking home the top honors after a nail-biting jump-off.
Ainsley Sadlo and Kesh Claim Grand Amateur-Owner Hunter Champion at Kentucky Spring Classic II

Hunter competition continued Saturday morning in the StoneLea ring welcoming the amateur-owner hunter competitors to step up to the plate with their mounts in hopes of taking home the Grand Amateur-Owner Hunter Championship. It was Ainsley Sadlo and her partner Kesh who took home the coveted honor after riding to success throughout Friday and Saturday’s competition.
