North Salem, N.Y. – Sept. 20, 2016 – Each year, the American Gold Cup brings together the top athletes from show jumping and driving to showcase their skills throughout the world-class competition. Katherine Gallagher, M. Michael Meller and Dan Walsh of E2 Show Jumpers are proud to support the exciting World Cup event. This year, in addition to his sponsorship of the competition, Meller presented the M. Michael Meller Style Award, donated in memory of Theresa Hogan, to Alison Robitaille.
The M. Michael Meller Style of Riding Award is presented to the rider that exhibits the best combination of horsemanship, skill and presentation while competing. Graciously accepting the award, Robitaille commented, “It’s really an honor getting this award from Michael and Peter [Lutz]. Peter has beautiful style as well and is always a great competitor. I love the sport and competing, so to be recognized for doing it well is exciting.”
“Alison is a wonderful friend and athlete,” expressed Meller. “She has dedicated her life to this sport and is always ringside to cheer on her fellow competitors and offer support. Alison has a natural way with the horses and it was wonderful to be able to present her with this award at such a special venue.”
Meller continued, “The American Gold Cup at Old Salem Farm is a truly unique event bringing together some of the world’s best athletes at a truly amazing location.
