Wellington, Fla. – March 10, 2017 – Olympian David Marcus and international Grand Prix rider Nicholas Fyffe of Marcus Fyffe Dressage are proud to announce their new sponsorship with Dressage Sport Boots, LLC.
Founded in 2001, Dressage Sport Boots, LLC. offers four different styles of boots that provide excellent protection as well as comfortable support for the horse. DSB features a wide range of colors on the vinyl exterior, which is puncture and abrasion resistant, as well as various fleece colors.
The owner of Dressage Sport Boots LLC., Lisa Wallace, is elated to align her brand with Marcus Fyffe Dressage after she noticed them wearing the boots in the warmup ring at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival.
“David and Nicholas are really good ambassadors for the sport and I am thrilled to have them as brand ambassadors for my boots,” Wallace explained. “When I see them train and compete, their horses are beautifully turned out, they treat their students well and everything I see is just really positive and professional. The quality of their riding, presentation and the care of their horses is impeccable – their horses are the happy athletes you want to see.”
What differentiates the work of Marcus and Fyffe is their attention to detail as well as their consistent support of their students through high standards not only in training, but in the care of their horses as well. Based year-round at Stillpoint Farm in Wellington, Florida, Marcus Fyffe Dressage trains many horses each day so durability and comfort is paramount for the boots they rely on for their horses’ protection.
“Dressage Sport Boots has been a product that we have loved to use on our horses for many years,” Marcus said. “When you look in our stable, you’ll see that DSB’s are the only boot that we ever work the horses in. We are excited about partnering with a company that’s in the forefront of the market in their category.”
Wallace was inspired to design Dressage Sport Boots after finding that other brands of equestrian boots were causing injury to horses’ legs rather than serving their purpose of protection. She is excited about her newest product the Glossy DSB which features a resilient plush fleece lining with a rugged Patent Leather PVC exterior.
“When I founded DSB I wanted something that you almost could not put on incorrectly – plus dressage is sometimes a little bit too serious and I wanted to offer fun colors,” Wallace said. “I hope that the Glossy DSB White boots will replace the traditional polos during awards ceremonies. The thickness of a polo wrap doesn’t offer anywhere near the amount of protection that a DSB boot does.”
“Our DSB boots last a long time even though we use them every day and they are machine washed often,” Fyffe concluded. “They fit the best and the fleece padding is great! We always look to partner with companies that offers products we honestly love and use – this is a really good fit!”
