Mark Kinsella Keeps On Winning in $25,000 FarmVet Grand Prix with Doraindo
Thermal, Calif. – Feb. 10, 2022 – Show jumping athletes went head-to-head Thursday afternoon in the $25,000 FarmVet Grand Prix. Over a track set by Olaf Petersen Jr. (GER), 46 horse-and-rider combinations attempted to conquer the first round course for a ticket to the jump-off and a shot at the lion’s share of prize money. Ultimately taking the top spot was Ireland’s Mark Kinsella who piloted Doraindo to the quickest clear effort of the afternoon.
Jamie Sailor and Get Rowdy Clinch Oz Inc. High Performance Hunter Championship
Hunter athletes took to Hunter 1 Thursday of Desert Circuit IV to vie for championship honors during the first of two WCHR Member Events to be held during the season at Desert International Horse Park (DIHP). Championship honors were awarded in various professional divisions, including the Oz Inc. High Performance Hunters, which were first to take on the courses for the day, set by Meghan Rawlins (CAN). After a successful two days of showing, it was Jamie Sailor and Get Rowdy, owned by Teton Farms, LLC, who took home the championship for the Oz Inc. High Performance Hunters. Matthew Sereni was awarded reserve championship honors with Hodine, owned by Trillium Farms, LLC.
Mark Kinsella Kicks Off Desert Circuit IV wit Win in $5,000 1.35m Whittier Trust Welcome Speed
Thermal, Calif. – Feb. 9, 2022 – Desert Circuit IV kicked off Wednesday with the $5,000 Whittier Trust Welcome Speed in the Grand Prix Arena. Twenty-five entries came forward to test the difficult track built by Olaf Petersen Jr. (GER) and attempted to notch the quickest clear-round time to secure the win. Only nine pairs successfully navigated the track clear, and ultimately it was Ireland’s Mark Kinsella and Astrid De B’Neville, owned by Victory Four Sporthorse Ltd., who topped the field with a clear round nearly three seconds faster than any other entry.
