Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – Sept. 3, 2019 – The National Horse Carriers Association (NHCA) was well represented at the Saratoga Race Course over the last week. The NHCA was founded in 1960 to encourage and promote high standards in the horse transportation industry. With over 30 members from around the country, the NHCA transports a wide variety of horse breeds and disciplines. The Saratoga Race Course stables over 2500 horses during the race meet that concluded on Monday, Sept. 2. The meet opened on July 11 and conducted racing Wednesday through Sunday each week, featuring some of the nation’s top race horses.

Known for their high energy, transporting Thoroughbred race horses can be a challenge. This year, NHCA members Creech Horse Transportation, Hogan Horse Transport, Lorraine Horse Transport, Morrissey’s Horse Pullmans and Sallee Horse Vans were on site to transport the horses to their next racing destinations such as Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, Aqueduct Raceway in Ozone Park, New York, Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, and various other training centers and racetracks.
Always transport your horse with a NHCA member to help assure your horse receives the most professional care during transportation.
NHCA members are reliable, affordable, and the safest way to transport your horse. Whether you own a high-stakes Thoroughbred race horse or a pleasure horse in your backyard, always choose to transport your horse with an NHCA member to increase you and your horse’s chance of a stress-free haul to their next destination.
