The National Horse Show Has A Successful 2019 Event

Lexington, Ky. – Nov. 13, 2019 –2019 marked the 136th year of the National Horse Show. The event, which is one of the most revered and storied horse shows in America added to its rich history and tradition by displaying top professional, amateur, and junior competition within its home, the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park.

 

The National Horse Show Board of Directors and staff would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the participants that helps make this year one of the most successful to date. Without the support of the exhibitors, owners, grooms, trainers, sponsors, vendors, and spectators, the National Horse Show would not be possible.

“The National Horse Show was second to none this year!” remarked Jennifer Burger, president of the National Horse Show. “In 2019, were able to achieve so much, including the expansion of the Opening Weekend, and the birth of the Junior Leadership Committee, as well as hosting a thrilling CSI-W4* and the ASPCA Maclay Equitation Finals. We are looking forward to 2020 and all of the opportunities that the future holds! ”

 

The 2019 National Horse Show offered over $700,000 in prize money as an FEI CSI4*-W designated event. The return of the National Horse Show $50,000 Hunter Classic along with the ASPCA Maclay Finals, The Hamel Foundation National Horse Show 3’3” Equitation Championship, Taylor Harris Insurance Services Adult Equitation Championship, Boggs Hill KHJA National Horse Show Equitation Championship and $225,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington made the National Horse Show a must-attend event for equestrians around the world as the finale to their summer equestrian seasons.
