Traverse City, Mich. – August 25, 2021 – The inaugural year of Traverse City Horse Show’s (TCHS) Hunter and Derby Finals is quickly approaching and will run concurrently with the 51st anniversary of the American Gold Cup. Hunter competitors can look forward to the addition of this brand new incentive program that is offering increased prize money and a chance to compete at the finals.
Unique to Traverse City, exhibitors will have the option to enroll in the incentive program and compete for add-back prize money in the Finals, with 70% of all enrollment fees added to the pot. Horses not enrolled in the incentive program will still be eligible to compete for guaranteed prize money as long as they have competed for three weeks during the Traverse City show series.

$25,000 3’3″ A/O Hunter Traverse City Final
$25,000 3’6″ A/O Hunter Traverse City Final, presented by the Gajoch Family
$50,000 Performance Horse Hunter Final (3’3″, 3’6″, 3’9″, 4′)
$50,000 Traverse City 3′ Derby Finals (Pro)
$25,000 Traverse City 3′ Derby Finals (Non Pro), presented by Makoto Farms
Hunter and derby finals will kick off the same week as the American Gold Cup, starting Wednesday, September 15, and will run through Sunday, September 19. Participants enrolled in the Traverse City Hunter Finals program will be entitled to all prize money and awards offered within their respective divisions.
