Pedal to the Medal, Cassio Rivetti Takes Home Victory in the $20,000 1.40m Speed Classic, sponsored by EquiFit
Temecula, Calif. – Oct 21, 2021 – Closing out competition Thursday afternoon in the Grand Prix Arena was the $20,000 1.40m Speed Classic, sponsored by EquiFit, at Galway Downs for Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Fall Week II. All seven classes held in the expansive arena were set in the USEF Table II Section I format, encouraging riders to go pedal to the medal for a clear round to earn the win. With only one shot in the ring to claim victory, the riders battled it out, leaving nothing on the table. The atmosphere was lively with spectators gathering to watch the field of top competitors vie for top honors. In the end, it was Cassio Rivetti and Kandella who topped the leaderboard with the quickest clear round.
“It’s really nice and I love the show,” stated Cassio Rivetti. “The facility is beautiful. Ali [Nilforushan] is doing such a great job. We can do a five-star here because there is everything. Ali always welcomes us so much that I will always continue to come here.”

Ultimately Angel Karolyi and S & L Sage bested the field of competitors to take home the sought-after share of the $10,000 prize.
Haness Claims Eighth and Final Hunter Division Title During Second Week of Temecula Valley National Fall Series
Temecula, Calif. – Oct. 21, 2021 – The crowning of division champions began early Thursday morning in the Grand Hunter Arena at the Temecula Valley National Fall Week II, presented by Interactive Mortgage. The first tricolor up for grabs was in the Performance 3’3” Hunter championship. After two days of stiff competition and five rounds, Nick Haness and Crowd Pleaser emerged victorious over the talented field. More champions were named following shortly thereafter in the combined Green 3’3” and 3’6” Hunter division as Molly Brock and Charismo claimed the top honors, while Haness and Reese’s claimed their eighth and final division championship title of the series in the Performance 3’6” Hunter.
Haness Dominates Hunter Ring for Second Week at Temecula Valley National Fall Series

Riders and their respective mounts took to the tree-studded ring to lay down solid scores for the first day of division competition in the Combined Green 3’3” and 3’6” Hunters as well as the Performance 3’6” Hunters. Eager to take home the last championship title of the series, competition was tight, though Molly Brock and Charismo took the early lead in the division. Nick Haness and Reese’s topped the leaderboard in the Performance 3’6” Hunter division heading into Thursday’s championship crowning.
