Phelps Media Group Announces New Partnership with Covert Equestrian, Inc.

Wellington, Fla. – June 3, 2017 – Phelps Media Group International is pleased to welcome a new partnership with Covert Equestrian, Inc., led by international show jumping competitor and trainer Angela Covert. Both parties look forward to growing with each other and developing the Covert Equestrian Inc. brand as both a competitive and professional entity.

Covert has has been racking up victories in the show jumping ring since the mid 1990’s. She began her international career in the early 2000s, winning several prestigious Grand Prix competitions within the same year. Covert went on to represent Canada on the 2010 Nations Cup team in Buenos Aires, Argentina aboard Utan, her 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding. With their contribution, Team Canada took home second place.

Covert earned high honors at the Canadian National Championship Royal Winter Fair in 2010, winning second place overall on her mount, Unica van de Roshoeve. Returning to Buenos Aires the following year, she placed second in the World Cup Grand Prix aboard Utan and helped Canada win the 2011 Nations Cup. She also represented Canada with Utan once again on the Nation’s Cup team in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 2013.

In addition to her success in the jumper ring, Covert has ridden and produced numerous champions in the elite hunter arena. She has coached riders to successful outings at prestigious shows such as North American Young Rider Championships, National Medal Finals and Under 25 Finals. In order to offer more opportunities for learning, Covert also leads educational clinics.

Covert Equestrian Inc. offers personalized service as a cultivator of the finest sport horses, providing an exclusive, boutique experience to clients. Now based in Wellington, Florida, Covert is excited to reach for new goals and opportunities that the high-profile equestrian destination provides.
