A native of Vermont, Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in 1992 majoring in Animal Science with a concentration in Small Business Management. After traveling down for the winter season for five years, Johnson made the permanent move to Wellington in 1998, where he’s been selling real estate for over 18 years.
An active dressage rider and competitor, Johnson imported his current mount, the Danish stallion Petersborg’s Qasanova (Quarterback x Calypso III) in 2014. In 2015 the pair was the #1 ranked FEI 5 year old in the Country and went on to be the sole representative for the United States at the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, Germany that year.
