West Grove, Pa. – Oct. 18, 2016 – The 2016 Cherry Knoll Farm Fall Online Auction is only a few days away! The fall sale will be hosted by AngusLive.com on Thursday, Oct. 20. Cattle bloodlines represented in the sale include Elsa, Elisha, Pride and a handful of other premier lines. The sale offering exemplifies the farm’s strong genetic base, reflecting Cherry Knoll’s reputation as one of the top producers of high performance Angus cattle.
“We will be featuring twenty of our high-quality heifer calves, as well as a handful our finest embryos this year,” Cherry Knoll Farm’s cattle manager, Tim Fitzgerald, said. “It will include the nicest set of babies we have ever sold from top to bottom.”
One of the highlights will be the sale of a half interest of Cherry Knoll Elsa 1610, out of Cherry Knoll Elsa 8014 and sired by Plainview Lutton E102. This exceptional sale highlight earned the Reserve Grand Champion Female and Calf Champion at the Keystone International Livestock Exposition earlier this month. She is a complete package with soundness, performance, and a quality look. Her full sister was the 2014 National Western Grand Champion Female shown by Kathryn Coleman.
Another sale highlight of the 2016 Fall Online Auction is Lot 2, Cherry Knoll Elsa 1612, out of Cherry Knoll Elsa 8014 and sired by Plainview Lutton E102. This young heifer is truly one to look at with a beautiful look and top potential.
Cherry Knoll Ark Pride 1606, out of Freys Cherry Knoll Ark Pride 110 and sired by EXG RS First Rate S903 R3, is Lot 3 and she is one not to miss! She has the look, along with the rib and fleshing ability to be a very productive female. Her dam was the 2008-2009 Show Heifer of the Year, as well as the 2009 Grand Champion Female at the Western National Angus Futurity.
