Temecula, Calif. – May 19, 2021 – Join the team at Nilforushan Equisport Events for a Memorial Day celebration including exclusive clinics with top industry experts Karen Healey and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, fierce competition in our $25,000 Memorial Day USHJA International Hunter Derby and gather together at the end of the day for a celebratory barbecue!
Nilforushan Equisport Events (NEE) is proud to offer this exclusive, opportunity to clinic with two of the most decorated and prominent equestrians in the industry at no charge to qualified applicants. NEE is now accepting applications for rider positions in our Memorial Day clinics with Karen Healey and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum!
Having produced 100+ medal final champions throughout her career, California-native Karen Healey is known as a force in the field of equitation for a reason. In addition to her students’ cumulative success, Healey holds her USEF R-rated judging license and has judged at many of the most prestigious horse shows in the country including the Devon Horse Show, the Hampton Classic, USEF Pony Finals and more. Open to equitation riders who are currently competing at 3’3″ and higher.
As a former student of Healey’s, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum paved her way to success in the world of show jumping at a young age. Not only has Michaels-Beerbaum trained under countless top-name professionals throughout her decorated career, but she is currently passing on her knowledge as a trainer to the next crop of top equestrian talent. In addition to winning multiple team championships, Michaels-Beerbaum is a three-time World Cup Finals winner, three-time Rider of the Year award recipient, and was the first, and only, woman to reach the number one position in the World Show Jumping rankings in 2008 where she would remain for a total of 25 months! Riders currently competing at the 1.30m level and above are invited to apply for one of these coveted spots in this intimate clinic experience.
Riders interested in participating in either of these clinics should email a brief biography, as well as a summary of their riding history and their current competition level to info@jump-nee.com. Only five riders per clinic will be accepted for participation, so it is encouraged that interested applicants send in their applications quickly!

After all of the activity has wound down for the day, the NEE team invites your barn family to join us in our VIP for a complimentary Memorial Day meal, in addition to entertainment provided by Queen Nation as our way of thanking you for making the Temecula Valley National Horse Show your go-to horse show for the past four years.
