On Sept. 16, 2019, Samantha Marie Pritchard Calzone passed away doing what she loved most in this life: riding horses.
“We have established the Samantha Calzone Memorial Horse Whisperer Award in memory of Samantha Calzone as an everlasting tribute to her life and to her passion for horses and as an inspiration to future generations horsemen and horsewomen,” said Lynn Coakley, EQUUS Foundation President. “We lost Samantha, a passionate and dedicated horsewoman, too soon.”
