Traverse City, Mich. – Sept. 2, 2021 – Show jumping competition returned to the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel International Ring as the Traverse City Tournament of Champions kicked off a thrilling week of world-class competition. The $36,600 Elk Rapids Marina 1.45m CSI3* welcomed top international athletes to vie for the top honors. In the end, just three Irish pairs managed clear rounds over the tactful course, and it was ultimately Shane Sweetnam and Indra Van De Oude Heihoef who emerged victorious out of a competitive group of horse-and-rider combinations.

Hunter competition during Week I of the Traverse City Tournament of Champions(TCF) was in full swing Thursday morning in the Polk Family Hunter Ring, as hunter athletes geared up for the final day of competition in the Perfect Products Green 3’6″ / High Performance Hunter division. Following the final two over fences classes and under saddle, Brooke Kemper and La Vida Loca ultimately walked away with the championship. Ilana Halpern and Long Game secured the reserve champion title.
