OUR MISSION IN ACTION

In the summer of 2018 Julio Arellano, an 8-goal member of the Coca-Cola team suffered severe head trauma after an incident with a green horse. Due to his unparalleled drive and commitment to his recovery, along with aid from the PPSG, Arellano continues to improve and now coaches Park Place in the Gauntlet of Polo as well as young polo athletes, including his own daughter Hope Arellano, an ambassador of U.S. Polo Assn.
Regarding the PPSG and his involvement with the organization Arellano said, “I want to let everyone know how grateful I am and how helpful PPSG was, and is. As a player that was relatively organized and planned ahead I never prepared for what happened. I sold property but it was not overnight that I could reduce my expenses to a manageable number. PPSG allowed me to come to Florida relaxed and sell my horses. There was great support in the sale of my horses by a number of players and patrons and I’m very thankful, but again I never expected to be the one who would need PPSG but I’m so grateful they are here!”
