Sock Inc. Reflects on Successful 2017 Season at Robindale Farm

Waxhaw, N.C. – Jan. 8, 2018 – Throughout 2017, Sock Inc. clients and horses experienced great success both in and out of the show ring. Based out of Robindale Farm, just south of Charlotte, North Carolina, head trainer Steve Heinecke enjoyed welcoming new students to the Sock Inc. family as well as assisting each client, new and old, achieve their goals for the year.

Heinecke spent much of 2017 building his resume as a ‘R’ judge and coaching his students to top ribbons throughout some of the foremost horse shows in the country, where clients focused on improving relationships with their horses, growing in their skills and learning to become more effective riders. Under the watchful guidance of Heinecke, Sock Inc. students, who are of all experience levels, grew and moved up to more challenging divisions with favorable results.

Combining the top-notch Robindale Farm facility and full-service amenities with Heinecke’s professional insight into the industry and knowledgeable, proven training methods has resulted in a winning recipe for Sock Inc.’s clients and horses since merging together a little over one year ago. Heinecke’s personalized training program offers clients and horses unmatched individualized attention. Whether your aim is to qualify for indoor finals or compete in your very first horse show, Heinecke is dedicated to helping his clients reach their goals.

“[Earlier this year], when Steve got ahold of my daughter, Cailey, she was about to give up on riding,” said Sock Inc. client Amy Duguid. “He really turned it all around. Cailey moved up two divisions in six months and is not just pinning but winning championships in very competitive divisions, which is extraordinary. Steve is a fantastic teacher and a great horseman. If Cailey can’t understand something one way, he goes above and beyond to find a way she will understand — whether he draws it out in the sand or he gets on and shows her instead of just explaining it.”

At the start of the year, during the 2017 winter circuit in Wellington, Florida, Sock Inc. also had the honor of sponsoring the inaugural Deeridge Derby competition, held at Deeridge Farms in March, and the $5,000 3′ Deeridge Hunter Derby, which was won by Jacob Pope and J’Adore and Augusta Iwasaki and Illusion in their respective sections.

Heinecke’s love of horses and the sport is evident in his keen understanding, management skills and attention to detail above all else, offering the local Charlotte community an environment where horses and riders can thrive, learn and have fun in a safe and comfortable setting.

In 2018, Sock Inc. looks forward to further establishing its home base at Robindale Farm and continuing to grow its sales program and clientele roster.

“Our team grew and learned a lot in 2017 and we are all eager to carry over and implement everything we’ve learned into 2018,” said Heinecke. “This is a very exciting time for Sock Inc. and I look forward to seeing where this year will take us!”
